Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC)
The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) was established in 2002 by the government of Dubai as a strategic initiative to provide the physical, market and financial infrastructure required to establish Dubai as a hub for global commodities trade. The DMCC offers commodities services in four main groups: diamonds, gold, pearls and tea. Firms representing other types of commodities, including agricultural, have also established offices at the DMCC. Namely, Advanta Seeds, an India-listed multinational seed firm opened its global office in the DMCC.
